BTW My DUmmy bloodline forgot to notify me that my Birth Mother died 3 months ago....no need since I am not apart of the family and BTW my Birthmothe was not either she they say is just like me a crazy loon right winger.
Sad that I wasn't notified but I did have some dreams.
I have not been with birthmom since I was 6 and was put in a hell home for many years untill I legally could run for my life.
Been great and the other kids hate me. Oh well.
Seriously...it's kinda fun when we do running commentary on stuff. Tonight's big controversy is going to be, who's better: Dick Clark back from the dead, or Reege?
I'll be lookin' for ya!
I want it to be a new promising beginning of the rest of my life. That 2006 will be the best year ever of my 25 year long life. happy new years!
Wow! You've only been here a couple of days! Why now?
Doesn't stick to facial hair.
Nobody ever heard of anybody smoking and chewing
gum at the same time!
Now approximately 20 years later I still have my
Bubble Yum Bubble Gum with me.
Er...I'm not a girl. ;)
We're here, babe! Now you rest up so you can dance those wheels off!
We'll be startin' up again in a few.
Thanks, but it wasn't a done-deal until almost March. Demon Nicotine is hard to exorcize.
A "little help" from bunches of demerol also worked wonders, but I could have done with out the gall bladder surgery (I just missed laparscopic laser rather than cut wide open by 3 or 4 months.) & pancreatitis that afforded the 2 weeks of sedation & final "painless" cold-turkey quitting.
At least I was down to just over a pack a week by then, and nada since.
well I have been reading her for a long time . I really feel inspired by americans and the way they empower people not to be victims and be in control of their own fate . Not that I am not doing ok , but I can do much better
well , In my country i wish we would kick out all illegal immigrants ,and asylumseekers that is convicted of a serious crime also has to leave out "socialist paradise" .The chief of our police just said that immigrants were not more criminal that us , but they were more violent.
(Blush!) Shuckens; I'm just a plain ol camp cook, not a chef! I jest make stuff to eat with what I have.
HAPPY NEW YEAR to you, too!
SMILING...
That's a great story.
Glad to hear it.
Things are going to be better this year. I just know it.
My new year resolution has been the same for past 20+ yrs: not to keep any resolutions that I make on new year's eve.
My biggest dilemma is to find a restaurant that serves edible food, not any more Fç"é& goat meat.
From Tombouktou (Mali, West Africa) where the temperature is a balmy 85° ( very cold for the locals) at 0910 Hrs, we wish y'all/youse, a very happy and prosperous new year and may all your dreams materiale in 2006.
"Texas Trash"
6 cups chex/pretzel/pecan mixture* (see below)
1 cup Goldfish crackers, plain, cheese or parmesan
1 cup garlic bagel bites
Anything else you want to put in
6 Tbsp. butter
4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. seasoned salt
1 tsp. garlic powder
Heat oven to 250 degrees. In a shallow baking pan that will hold all the mixture, melt the butter and stir in the W-sauce & seasonings. Add the cereal mixture and toss to coat each piece. Bake in the oven 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on paper towels till cool.
~~~~~~~~
White Trash
1 large box Rice chex cereal
1 large box Corn chex cereal
2 heaping cups thin pretzel sticks - break them up a little
8 oz. pecan halves or large pieces -- if halves, break them up a little smaller
1 package confectioner's coating (white) - 24 oz. -- sometimes called almond bark or vanilla bark -- comes in a package at the grocery store that looks like an ice cube tray of 12 - 2oz. "cubes"
1/2 lb. confectioner's (powdered) sugar
In a VERY LARGE bowl, pour together the cereals, pretzels and pecans. Now, take out 6 cups of the mixture and set aside for the "Texas Trash" recipe above.
Melt the white coating in the microwave (process approx. 3 minutes on 100%--stir--if more time needed, process in 30-sec. increments, stirring each time until melted). Pour coating over the mix in the large bowl and toss quickly to coat each piece.
Have powdered sugar ready in a separate bowl or in a gallon-size Ziploc bag. With a very large spoon, scoop portions of the coated mix into the powdered sugar and either toss (in bowl) or shake (in bag) to completely coat each piece with sugar. Very important to do this all while still fairly warm.
Scoop out batches of mix into a large flour sifter or sieve and shake off all excess sugar. Spread on waxed paper-lined baking sheet to completely dry. Yummy, yum yum, addictive and so simple! I really love that it doesn't "shed" any sugar on you! I package this in little white plastic "trash cans" from the craft store.
Pumpkin Pie Trash
Use basic recipe for "White Trash" and melt one package (12 oz.) cinnamon chips in with the white candy bark. Add several tablespoons of pumpkin pie spice, plus an extra Tbsp of cinnamon, to the powdered sugar for dusting. These are wonderful!
I'd only eat the red ones if I were you !!!!! LOL
Wow, where did all these posts come from? I left because I thought it would be empty until morning. That's what I get for thinking.
There's your Chex Mix recipe, just above here--it's called "Texas Trash" in our neck of the woods. I'm so sorry to hear another of your bloodline sad stories; really the worst of all, I suppose. Give yourself a chance to grieve, even if you don't think you need to, under the circumstances. Then start a "Soul Train, Soul Train ..." Get on board ....
My husband hates them, but I love them. You can bet we will have a nice serving of black-eyed peas on New Year's Day.
