Though this IS good news, dont be surprised when the leaking sources turn out to be certain RINOs on the Hill.

Eh, McCain?

Eh, Warner?

Eh, Hagel?

But of course, I know NOTHING.

I think Jay Rockefeller and the FISA judge who "resigned" from the FISA court only are the likely culprits.

On a scale of 1-10, I think an 8.5-9.0 would be likely.

Just MHO of course.

I know you have sources, but I'm thinking that since Risen specifically mentioned the actions of two members of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (Rockefeller and Feinstein), they might be the most likely source of the leaks.

If I were a betting man . . . .

( . . . . I'd be bankrupt and living on the streets. LOL.)

I say let the chips fall where they may. This is a matter of national security.

Regarding McCain, I seem to recall that he came out saying that the NSA surveillance program was within the President's powers.

I frankly don't care. I just want them stopped...and prosecuted.

I don't care what party they are from

You DON'T play political games with National Security information ... especially information that could get Americans killed

Yup.

I'd be very surprised if the DOJ prosecuted any from the NY Times. Free speech and all that. Lends itself too handily to endless sound bytes.

I think the DOJ, if God is in his heaven, will go after the LEAKERS. And I'm very convinced those leakers are congress critters.

As you indicate, some RINOS are going to be targeted. John McCain, that media darling who invites everyone from Russert to Rather to his birdthday parties for God's sake, HAS to pay them back for their favorable coverage, eh?

In fact, I'm pretty sure the admin has known about McCain's leaking for a while but hey, the guy IS a Republican, or sorts. I think the admin held off going after these leakers because they knew McCain was going to come up, they McCain is adored by the media, and they knew they would take a beating on it.

Also, if I were to take bets, I'd say Jay Rockefeller's going to take a long walk off of a short pier as well. Again, I think the admin held off going after the Lords in America's House of Lords because other Lords defended them.

There's going too far and there's going too far and these people have just gone too far. The American public has risen over these leaks and boom, the admin simply cannot allow these Lords to continue betraying the country.

This would not surprise me. RINO's are bald-faced careerists, in it purely for themselves, and have no discernible scruples about loyalty to the president or national security.

Hell, if the leakers are RINO's, some of them anyway, I don't think anyone here will be throwing sympathy parties for them.

I don't really care if you have a D or an R by the name. I want them rounded up, stripped of clearance and tossed in prison.
