The Constitution does not give the President the power to declare war. The power to declare war is given to Congress. The constitution does not put any limits on how to declare war, just that Congress is the branch of the Government to declare war.

Nor did the President ask .... had he asked ... there is zero question it would have been given .... the President continues to call this a war BUT it is an undeclared war .... that is a concept error. That was President Bush's 1st mistake after 9-11.

Not only that. An "Authorization to use force" plus the inherent Presidential Powers as Commander in Cheif make this whole "NSA Easedropping" Media circus a complete NON story to anyone who bothers to be even remotely informed about the matter
