I was nodding in some agreement..until the last sentence.. Hiya Ken! How you be?
Well I hadda put that disclaimer. But I ask that you read my more recent novel of a post for more on my "novel".
Hand to God...you can't make this stuff up. Maybe it's because I write fiction and often have to build the plot UP that I am so intrigued to see a bang up novel unfolding from the top DOWN right before my lying eyeballs that has me seeing things the way I do.

So it seems as if "in camera" and "off camera" are sort of the same..kinda..

18 U.S.C. 793, 794, and 798 make for interesting reading. The potential hot water the NY Times finds itself in has two dimensions: 1) Did they solicit the information and 2) What was their intent when they published it.
E.O. 13292 (which replaced the oh so ironic E.O. 12958) is also good for general background.

Ask your Average Joe voter about "Able Danger." Ask him how good the economy is. Ask him if he knows how much drilling in ANWR will affect the environment. ........... The MSM wins most of the battles. We manage to barely win the wars. You're right. No matter how some folks here kid themselves and hold out hope that the new media is presently winning the media war, we are not yet, not nearly.

Royce Lamberth -- it was his 'temper tantrum' that basically denied the Bush Administration their wire tap requests -- here the the thread, you will find it interesting -- I think all Freepers should read it:

My hunch as well. The Times helpfully published a list of them on Dec. 23--all the ones who knew, and the special few who sent objections to the White House and, imagine!, received no satisfaction. I'd say start there.

You'll have to be satisfied with the little liberal sycophant, Norah 'Mascara/Lipgloss' O'Donnell. She's doing the show these days.

Polls won't save anyone on this. That's what the Dems don't realize. That's why they haven't one the majority for so long. You can't put your finger out and test the winds. During the Civil War it can be said that a large part of the nation did not favor in stopping the secession with force. Lincoln still had to do it and did it. Four years of heavy causalities, American against American. He did it because it was the right thing to do. The majority of the nation can feel the President was wrong but if it's legal, which it is, it won't make a diff. Let the DEMs poll all they want. I already know that a certain percentage of this nation is clueless and a certain percentage of this nation hates itself.

The MSM wins most of the battles. We manage to barely win the wars. They win the battles but we win the war. I am all for that. However you are very wrong that the defeated liberal media win all the battles. Only knee jerk reactionary people think this way. The defeated liberal is greatly distrusted bu the majority of Americans and their approval rating has been less than 35% for many years.
Liberals and their media whores are committing mass political suicide for going after the President on this NSA issue and the Patriot Act. It is only a sign of how their unspeakable hatred for President Bush has destroyed any cell of intelligence and political insight left in their brains, and even worse it has destroyed any drop of patriotism left in their veins.

This poll makes no sense whatever. How can 56% be in favor of leak probe and yet only 28% be bothered that the leak was made in the first place?
Why favor a probe into something so seemingly unimportant (to respondents).

Helps to have a much better understanding of why W didn't even use his 72hr window after the fact. Collusion between these traitor judges...they've gotten one to resign wonder when and who is next....
