Poor folks. Just when they get their hopes up...boom!

I have heard them referred to as whistleblowers many times already! The dims are praising them for their bravery in revealing the corruption and criminal activity of our POTUS and his administration.I wonder if Dems would feel the same way about someone who leaked a copy of the Barrett Report..?

He will have to fight Biden and McCain for it. That somehow reminds me of the Three Stooges fighting over a microphone.

They're rattled. This caught them off guard.

I used to protect classified material for a living, but I'm not an attorney.
I know that the significant case on this is Daniel Ellsberg publishing the Pentagon Papers, and I believe he got off.
Here's the fact: our secrets laws are effectively toothless, and the reason why is every time something does go to trial, the moron in question gets a slap on the wrist.
John Deutsch should be in jail somewhere for emailing all kinds of classified material in the clear over an unprotected network to an non-secure terminal in his HOME for the purpose of writing a book (memoires).
Sandy Burgler is in that same category. Both got pats on the back, and sent to bed without dinner.
Angkor is likely to be right on whatever he was saying as a practical matter, but the Espionage Act is pretty clear that any disclosure who knowingly discloses materials they know to be classified is subject to a fine of $10K, and/or jail up to 10 years for EACH DISCLOSURE.
No exceptions for the press.

Whistleblowers? Whistleblowers? Than the congresscritters that knew about these activities are having the whistle blown on them for not preventing it when it happened, instead going along.

I doubt anyone is seriously worried. This administration has done little with the vermin in these departments as of yet.
The MSM will line up in unison calling the leakers "whistleblowers", "patriots", "victims", "heros" and use adjectives such as "brave", "courageous", "bold", and "brave". Mark my words.

I'm not talking about non-citizens, illegal combatants, and foreign enemies ... I'm talking about US citizens.Oh yeah? Which ones? Name 'em. And describe where you obtained this information.

OK, I'm running up to the concession stand to get the Super Deluxe Double-Sized Popcorn, extra butter, extra salt. Should I get you a soda or a beer? You'll save my seat, right? Soda is fine, I don't drink. Though for this, I might be tempted to start. Bring some hot dogs and nachos with extra cheese, too.

Have we confirmed, for certain, he was suspended? I know we suspect he was, but I've missed it if there has been confirmation??????

No doubt. Let's hope those tactics don't work this time.

"There was a post on here earlier last week saying that Rat Traitor Senators Rockefeller, Durbin and Wyden are under investigation."
Yes I read that and the only one who has gone silent in their anti-Bush campaign is Wyden. (That I am aware of.) Who stands to gain a political advantage, these liberals do not care what national security damage they do, the more division and destruction they can create the more they have to run a political campaign upon. "WE (I) CAN DO BETTER", have you heard that campaign slogan getting a trial balloon this fall/winter. I expect to hear that day in and day out throughout the next 2 + years.

If it is him, then at a minimum, he should be thrown off the Intel committee, lose his security clearance & be censured. I'd prefer prison though for WHOEVER it is.
