***The New York Times is a joke, and we all know it.***
It's far more than a joke. It's so totally tied up with the Democrats that it will do ANYTHING to bring down our President, and place the lives of every one of us in jeopardy. I suspect that the decision makers of the NY Times are playing Russian roulette. If NY city is hit again, they lose. If it's San Francisco, Chicago, L.A., etc., then they blame it on Bush, capture the presidency, and get perks from the new communist government.
I hate to bring politics into this, but it's possible that all the Dems and the Tokyo Rose left have done with these national security revelations is demonstrate that they would NOT use the constitutionally available powers to protect us and insulate Bush from the worst criticism if there is another attack.
On this issue, I've always stressed that the government shouldn't be allowed to do things of questionable constitutionality because of our rights. This is an angle I didn't think of -- they give an excuse to the guilty to have their convictions overturned.
