"Because his victimization involved sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll, people have varying opinions about how seriously this child was victimized," said Lt. Mark Gagan. "This is a 15-year-old who has lost 40 pounds and spent Christmas at a drug rehabilitation center far from his family ... this is not what we want for our 15-year-olds." The 20 year old needs help, too. Hopefully this will be her wakeup call.

Why did the kid run away in the first place? And shouldn't Silva's mom be charged as well? Wasn't she an accompice if she let the kid stay there?

Interesting there's not a word that her little brother was the "victim's" best friend and that's why the mother let him go out of state to live with the family. The mother knew the whole time where he was. Sounds like both the mother and the boy were already screwed up and absent/divorced/whatever dad finally stepped up to the plate.

Porn actress?
Young girls do prostitution at 14-15 year-old, and would just as soon do stuff in front of a camera at the same age. That does not make her a "porn actress", even if she is in some "movie" with some scumbag holding a $200 video camera.
This is a girl who liked sex and drugs--she is not a "porn actress".

Dangit.
And here I thought you had to wait until you were 17.
When I was seventeen
It was a very good year
It was a very good year for small town girls
And soft summer nights
Wed hide from the lights
On the village green
When I was seventeen
