1. Sen. Lincoln Chafee (R.I.) Once approached by Democratic Leader Harry Reid to switch parties, Chafee has long supported liberal policies. He backs legal abortion, gay rights, federal-funded health care, strict environmental protections and a higher minimum wage. Opposes ANWR drilling. Also was the only Republican in Congress not to endorse the Presidents reelection and one of three who tried to gut Bushs tax cuts.
2. Sen. Olympia Snowe (Maine) A self-described centrist, Snowe scored a 100% pro-choice voting record as scored by NARAL and consistently votes with Democrats on social issues.
3. Sen. Arlen Specter (Pa.) Snarlin Arlen warned Bush not to nominate judges who might overturn Roe v. Wade, joined Chaffee reducing tax cuts and supported Democrats on the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty, HMO and overtime regulation. Also opposed school choice in Washington, D.C.

I also understand that, like most pilots which build up extra points during extended training (particularly, initial training), the President only needed a minimum number of points annually to remain active in the Guard.
How about citing where you got the info you throw around as "fact"?
Are you sure it wasn't Mary Mapes and Dan Rather?
You're right. It makes me laugh when people lump McCain in with Chafee and Pataki. I think McCain is a shameless self-aggrandizer, but he's no RINO.
My math skills may not be good enough to qualify me to teach at MIT or CalTech, but I can count reasonably well without taking off my shoes.
Re-read my #22 post. Notice that I didn't limit all RINOs to that list in the article. It's 55-45 in the Senate now, and there are more than 6 RINO Senators. IMO McCain, Voinivich, Dewine, and Hagel can be added to the four that are listed, which would make it eight in all. The same thing is true of the house. I count 202 Dems and 231 Repubs plus 1 non-party and one vacant seat. It would only take a shift of 15 seats to change control of the House, actually only 14 since the old socialist from VT would vote for Democrat control. There are certainly more than 14 RINOs in the House, and if they were replaced by Democrats, they would have the majority and Pelosi would be speaker.
If you think things aren't going too well for Bush and the WOT now, think what it would be like if far-left Democrats (are there any other kind?) chaired all the House and Senate committees with Reid and Pelosi setting the agenda for Congressional actions. I don't like RINOs either, but we're better off with them than with Democrats in their place.
If McCain can't take the heat of the blame for that stupid travesty of p*ssing on the Constitution, maybe he should get out of Washington!
McCain is a TRAITOR.
That's right! McCain and every other POW talked after torture and told their N. Vietnamese "hosts" exactly what they wanted to hear: That America was purposely targeting hospitals, schools and child care centers in its air campaign," however, it was FALSE information. The POWs even signed statements to the effect after their torturers continually prodded them with pain...But that is the problem with torture, interrogators get information they WANT to hear but it isn't exactly reliable (as with the Iraqi WMD stockpiles that were supposed to be in abundance), and it makes my point.
McShame should know better, since the NV used REAL torture tactics.
As far as WMD goes, given that Iraq is the size of California, and Syria is next door, they could very well be hidden for years to come.
