WASHINGTON - Liberal challengers of Senator Clinton's re-election bid said yesterday that the grants and contracts she secured earlier this month for contributors to her political action committee will help their efforts at casting the former first lady as an ally of big corporations and a politician for hire.
A former union leader, Jonathan Tasini, who recently decided to challenge Mrs. Clinton, largely because of her support for the Iraq war, said he is not surprised Mrs. Clinton secured federal money for individuals and businesses that have donated to her campaign committees. The New York Sun reported yesterday that Mrs. Clinton and Senator Schumer directed $123 million from the Department of Defense budget to New York projects that were not specifically requested by the Pentagon. The practice is common among lawmakers in Washington.
"We know where much of her money comes from - from large corporations who clearly anticipate something," Mr. Tasini said. "Whether it be Wal-Mart or Citigroup or law firms like Skadden Arps, these people don't contribute because of good will toward mankind. They expect something. And the denials about this just don't meet the smell test. I think all Americans know that corporate contributions are directly related to the help they get."
A spokesman for Mrs. Clinton, Philippe Reines, defended the funding that the senator asked members of the Joint Conference Committee on Defense Appropriations to include in the 2006 defense budget that the Senate approved a week ago. Many of the pet projects, or "earmarks," were secured for companies with political action committees that have contributed to Mrs. Clinton's and Mr. Schumer's committees. Beneficiaries range from a Buffalo nanotechnology firm slated to receive $2 million to a cancer research program in Cold Spring Harbor that will get $1.5 million.

So, they dumped Dean in 2004 for being too liberal and now they want to dump CLinton for being too conservative...
I can't take anymore!
Notice to Libs....
Money tends to corrupt,
Absolute money tends to corrupt absolutely.
That's what you get when you elect someone who has a history of corruption in return for money. They should do a google for Clinton+Tyson, or Clinton+tainted Blood, or Clinton+Cattle Futures, or Clinton+China Contributions, or.....
Why would businesses contribute to anti-business socialists? Is it fear of retribution if they don't contribute and the lefties win?
I actually am glad this is finally happening to Hillary from her own liberals. For years she played the victim of a vast right wing conspiracy to get elected and now she is getting it from her own libs. This is going to really mess up her 2008 chances. As far as Senate - she will win because I think the NY GOP is going to ask Cox to get back in the race. A BIG MISTAKE. They are putting in someone who never ran for public office against a crafty woman who already has a Senate seat. If they NY GOP sticks with Spencer they will have someone who may just beat the pants off of Hillary.

You can sell pardons to felons like Marc Rich - here is a photo of his wife with Hillaroo after using a campaign donation as a bribe in order to guarantee Marc Rich's presidential pardon...
Here is Bill and Hillaroo photographed with an exploiter of young girls and heavy Clinton donor (but at least he is not an evil corporation):
Yessirreeee folks, that's none other than the infamous Ng Lap Seng, Macau Crime Lord who controls Prostitution in that region. His Fortuna Hotel is actually a high class bordello where young girls (mostly underage) are available for a small price. Ng, through his American contact Charlie Trie, donated close to a million dollars to the Democrats.
Does the MSM care about young girls being raped?
Not if Bubba or Hillaroo are involved.

If you're a Clinton, you could even rent out the Lincoln bedroom for $150,000.00 per night to raise campaign money and get off scott free. Legally, as well as in the press. The press never touched this scandal... except for the National Enquirer.
...but... don't say it, they actually got a legitimate corporation to give them money. Oh, my word!
Let me whisper a little secret in your ear fellow:
Giving out Government money to contractors in response to campaign donations is how every politician stays in ofice. It is how incumbents stay in office, it is why they are so tough to beat. In this case Hillary is just doing what all the rest do and biting at her Cankles for this isnt going to help you much.
All part of the libs script to fool people into thinking Hillary! is a centrist. She's probably telling the liberals to act like they are upset with her.
Its the ultra leftists (anti-corporations) that are outraged. This is basically coming from the ultra leftists which is about 50% of the liberal voting block. Its a good sign because that means she could never get the Democratic nomination without them. The more they show how Hillary is all over the place and not doing what they want her to do the better it is for us. Believe me they are a very angry bunch in general and anything she does to anger them is NOT forgotten that easily.
If you lurk on DU you should see the hatred they have for Hillary - you would think they were talking about George Bush instead. LOL
I should have added, that all you had to do is ask Juanita Broaddrick about that.

The Clintons can always be found among crooks and sex-
offenders. In the photo to the far left, Hillary is between two sex-offenders and and to the far left is Denise Rich, the
wife of convicted felon and billionaire Marc Rich, whom
the Clintons' later pardoned after receiving a large bribe.
The photo to the immediate left is a photo of Marc Rich.
Most of the democrat money comes from multi millionaires and multi billionaires, and large technology companies. Soros, Microsoft, Progressive Insurance, Slim Fast, Cisco, and many others. Plus the left leaning foundations who donate to causes that support the democrat party. I cannot find the story but I read that more individual donors donate to the Republicans (more than two to one) than the democrats, so the party of the super rich are the democrats. And OH, I forgot UNIONS totally democrat.
Right..it's just an act. When it comes down to the wire, at election time, they'll vote for her no matter what. They are not principled at all. But I still don't see her winning a rat primary in 08. I don't think she can win more than a senate re-election.
The same reason companies pay off Jesse Jackson.
