I know Cornyn VERY well.
He is no RINO, but he is too intellectual for his own good.
Well, he's a RINO on this issue.
He's not going to change his mind, unless people complain.
He is no RINO, but he is too intellectual for his own good.
Based on what I have seen on this thread, THAT makes a lot of sense.
We need the wall for a lot of reasons -- even if it isn't a total solution, we need it as a symbol that we intend to protect our borders.
Again, any and every politician R, D or I, misunderstands this at his or her peril.
Ask him if he read this, before he raised his right hand and swore a sacred oath to almighty God to defend it:
"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government,
1. The act of invading; the act of encroaching upon the rights or possessions of another; encroachment; trespass.
Then, advise him that this is what millions of Americans who also took that oath think of him and his kind:
Quisling: a synonym for traitor, someone who collaborates with the invaders of his country.
Maybe just send him a link to this thread. (And maybe he'd like to know where Quisling was in 1946.)
