I'd like to see the GOP retain control of the Senate, but Lott had his shot at being majority leader and completely screwed it up.

Does Lott run this story up the flagpole once a week just to see if he's gotten any more interest than he had the week before?

Lott's leadership was weak at best, why would anyone think he'd do better a second time around?

According to columnist Robert Novak.Did you ever notice that every time Robert Novak claims to be the recipient of a White House leak, he smells like urine?

Lott made Dole look like a decisive partisan leader...and that's not saying much. GOP Senate has a history of selecting idiots as Majority Leader.

Senator Lott is delusional. (Unless the whole thing's made up, of course.)

How about someone BESIDES Lott or Frist. Both have proven to be wimps. Even McCain would be better because at least he wouldn't let the Dems make him look like a fool.

Dream on. Screw up once and it's your fault. Secrew up twice, and it's ours. It's still your fault, Trent.

Frankly, it looks like Whorelan Sphincter and Mcstain run the Senate. Won't matter who has the title.

I doubt that Trent has even the slightest clue that making his apologies to the 'rats was his downfall....not a clue.

No no no --- he is too wimpy
To: ErnBatavia
His downfall was letting the GOP get to the point where a moron like Jumpin' Jim Jeffords was a factor.
