To all Freepers who don't understand just how far Canada , and especially Quebec has degenerated, now you know. Quebec IMHO is probably the most statists, anti-religion, and socially liberal jurisdiction in the OECD or G7.

Just a type of bread until it is consecrated, so it is no big deal.

So much for Catholicism in Quebec. Its of museum interest only.

Oh, my.

Until the host is consecrated it's just crackers. However, this should be an interesting thread, I'd guess.

When I first saw this, I thought "Weekly World News" for sure. But I see that it's been picked up by the AP, so look out.

Until it's blessed by the priest, it's just a cracker.

If it's blessed by a rabbi, it's just a kosher cracker.

Snooze. Unless it's consecrated, it's no more sacred than Saltines. Doesn't taste as good, either.

"The unleavened bread left over after the wafers were cut out was sold by monasteries to their parishioners."

Sacre bleu!! Are you going to organize against these "statists [and] anti-religion" group too? Wait a minute - the author is discussing monasteries!

And if it's covered in E-Z Cheese it's delicious!
