I miss Oplatki! We had it every Christmas Eve too. My family is from Blue Island, IL. I can't even get a decent kielbasa here in pork steak country. LOL

Pah, folks don't need to confuse symbol with the real thing. A crucifix isn't Jesus, merely a
home decor item to remind others of him. The wafer is nothing more than a baked good until it is used in ceremony.
