Pretty soon Clinton will be compared to Mother Theresa. He was and still is low life trailer trash who sold out this country to support his ideology of a global Marxist society.

I'll bet that the word "sex" is mentioned often in these books but the phrase "perjury committed before a Federal judge in a civil rights case that was sanctioned by a 9-0 decision of the US Supreme Court" won't be mentioned once.

Federal pejury conviction disqualified him from practicing law but wasn't enough to disqualify him from being President.

No mater how much lipstick the liberal historians put on the pig, no one can deny that he was impeached. His legacy has been established and cannot be changed.

Let me guess how it's treated in the text books:

The terrifying story of how an out-of-control fundamentalist Christian prosecutor delved into the personal life of the greatest president in our nation's history, thereby giving the Republican extremists in the house an opportunity to mount a coup d'etat against the Constitution by resorting to impeachment as payback for Watergate, and as a means to advance the establishment of a lawless theocracy in the United States.

The 'historians' would have you think that Clinton's 'problems' were limited to being hounded by a bunch of conservatives. In reality, Lewinsky was only a side show to treason, corruption, and missing bin Laden several times. Stories that recived scant coverage in the MSM.

I'll be "sex" isn't mentioned at all, but that the entire incident was the design of partisan Republicans trying to overturn the will of the people.

That pos former potus is still positioning himself for a stint at the UN. You'll notice that much more emphasis is being put on the superb job he did with the economy and global aids assistance.

I think you are right.

They will present it as President Clinton, in th e midst of dealing with serious foreign and domestic problems, was inappropriately impeached by a partisan majority relating to issues of a strictly personal nature.

Lying, perjury, seduction of White House aids, oral sex, cigars, and all the sordid details of a singularly poor Presidency which slept while Al Quaida plotted and acted, will be glossed over in favor of a character revision that would put Goebbels, Stalin and Philip the Fair to shame.

Quoting David Broder (5/09/00): "The American people want an iron-clad guarantee that the next president will not embarrass them in front of their children the way that Bill Clinton did."

Bill Clinton will always be remembered as the President embarrassed every American in front of their children. If his legacy hurts, maybe he should put a little ice on it.

Amen! It doesn't hurt to send complaints to the textbook publishers either - here's the one that gave more space to Johnson's 1868 impeachment:

I wonder what history will say he actually did that was good.

I can't think of anything except signing the Republican Welfare Reform Bill but he had no choice there.
