Yesterday - Beatles "Patriot Act Parody"
Self ^ | 12/27/05 | MD2576

Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away
Now it looks as though they’re here to stay
The Patriot Act, got passed today.

Suddenly, I’m not half the man I used to be,
There’s a shadow hanging over me.
The government, is watching me.

Why rights had to go I don’t know he wouldn’t say.
I said something wrong, now I long for yesterday.

Yesterday, war was such an easy game to play.
Now It seems as though it's here to stay.
Oh, we'll forget of yesterday.

Mm mm mm mm mm.

TOPICS: Your Opinion/Questions
KEYWORDS: parody; patriotact
For me you'll want the Zot

But I've been here quite allot

And there seems to be a change

or stories were rearranged

now conservatives are calling for more government.

They'll call you a liberal

for being so literal

about the Patriot Acts abuses.

and the governments secret uses

previously against it Freepers were so adamant.

Now it's different we can see

after a presidents plea

to trust him in his mission

and a congressional decision.

To pass the act permanently

would almost indefinitely

morally, ethically
Spiritually, physically
Positively, absolutely

destroy the rights sweet disposition.

Only a newbie like yourself would think I was a DUmmie. Keep with the flock sheep or you may get lost from the herd.
