You said for my theory to hold, what is true of obese women must be true for obese men.

But men and women are different. There is much that is true for women that is not true for men.

The sexes have different needs for approval from society, for example. That women are by nature more thoroughly socialized than men would be accepted by most here.

I don't see how a higher propensity for obese women to prove vulnerable to muslim conversion would somehow invalidate what I said.

Maybe you can make it clearer for me.

Your theory is "shallow." There are most likely even more powerful reasons some women in Sacramento are converting to Islam. Such as perhaps a yearning for a religion and people who hold more traditional values and more traditional roles of men and women. Similar to the men on this forum and elsewhere who prefer Asian women over American women.
