Hobbes was pretty territorial about LOTS of things, including her perch by the door, but Calvin prefers the back of the sofa, and he can see out just as well as she can.
They have this voyeuristic thing about the litterbox, and they are polite *ahem* at the feeding station, but Hobbes thinks Calvin's bushy tail is strictly for her enjoyment. She torments him...chasing his tail...
