[history]
China will never go down, and don't think you can banish communism. Because the people won't let it. They know they are the last standing, they are the only ones left. America is in a decline while China's climaxing, America will go down. We are just done with our prime, if anything, we were going into a depression since 1992 (and don't say you don't know that year). Communism is the American's medias' worst nightmare, because of censorship. I hope we all have to read one newspaper and wipe my butt with one brand of tiolet paper. I hope we all die for our next generations to wear the red armband. We deserved 9/11, and they enjoyed it. You probably hate me now, I know, you just still think like its 1945, well too bad its 2005. We only stand to fall.

Also, tomorrow, I'm taking it in for a tune-up and for a front-end alignment. I need to know if I should have them check something else...

The ignition cylinder is awfully rare to go, but when it does, it does some weird stuff.
Solenoid picks, and there's clicking.
Face, does the starter engage and actually try to crank the engine, or does it merely sit and click?
(My beat up car fried the main wire from the solenoid to the starter, it clicked, tried to start, and then I had wire smoke coming out from under the hood..)

"I'm worried about the trip..." Another piece of information is whether it will start on a roll during this period. You said it was a standard transmission. That sometimes adds a clutch or brake switch into the confusion.
Worst case, keep somebody handy to give you a push-start, or always park on a hill.

"Entropy."
I tried once this entropy theng. Dropped an egg on the floor, but the egg did not return to its previous state. Did I fail or did entropy fail?

Key off. Foot on the brake. Try and shift into first, then back into neutral. Do this a couple times. If it catches, its the reverse lockout switch. Kind of a "nothing" part that can be annoying to change out depending on where the manufacturer wired it in at.
Also, if that starter was a boneyard scavange, it might be giving up the ghost. If it was new, it could be something as simple as a wire coming loose. If you are gonna have it in for a tune-up, have 'em take a peak. You'd think they'd experience the fault while working on your truck if they turn it on/off more than once.

Yeah, the Flying Dutchman does that.
It has also had the seatbelt refuse to release.

Hmmm...It just clicks, now that I think of it. I tried to start it by popping the clutch while it was in a roll, but it wasn't a steep enough hill, I'm sure.

I'm hoping that will happen...I mean, that it does it while it's in for the tune-up. I can delay my trip by a day, but more than that would put it into next motnh.
