China is today's Japan. Lots of hype, rapid growth, fear, etc.
Tomorrow, China will be second rate and we will be talking about India.
I suppose "Chairman Mao", Joseph Stalin, and Ho Chi ming, were on the for-front of his mind while discussing politics....
Yep Indians are democratic, not threatening to neighboors, and a huge portion of them speak english much better than mainland chinese. They are also more friendly when you visit their homeland I been to India and china. China is tottally racists especially to a white American, some sawed off runt probably about 5'4" or shorter rode by on a bike and screamed white devil. I would have beat the hell out of him right there but I was afraid of the barbaric chinese jails, and wanted to eventually return to the US.India was laid back and peaceful and people help me out in finding where I wanted to go.
China...10% GDP growth, divorce rate up, abortions up, STDs up, ecco activism up. I think the commies are clueless on how to handle the situation.
Every economy has a crash at some time or another. chinas should be fun to watch.

True. I think China will be interesting. The social pressures on the repressive government should be quite colorful. China has been playing a chess game with us for years and I think our queen is in the kings court.
