Additional proof that this President is more concerned with the safety of the American people than a dalliance with an intern in the oval office and he will be at or above 60%.

Mickey Kaus proves he's for the terrorists.

He's sure not with us.

Knowing that they will suffer through 3 more years is a wonderful fact.

The MSM and the Democrats are pushing President Bush's numbers up. There's broad support for the mild, reasoned measures the the President adopted, and the left's attempt to paint them as scandalous are going to backfire badly.

Too busy to actually read the article, so you though you'd just make yourself look foolish, eh?

We used to say another sex scandal and Bill Clinton would be at X %. It is funny to see the same digs at Bush over upholding his oath of office.

at the best, Kaus is damning Bush with faint praise.

You're right, I misperceived his perspectives. Sorry.

But, based upon earlier writings, it's going to take a while before I ever warm to most anything SLATE offers.

But, Kaus is taking great pains to avoid saying anything complimentary about President Bush, I must say. I take it that's his best, which is still showing great fear he'll not be being appealing enough to his liberal readers.

I just don't value Kaus, is all. I don't rely on him as a source for much of anything valuable.

Yeah, thought I'd give it a try. Obviously, I succeeded.

But, boy of boy, can Kaus sure work overtime to maintain his liberal footing...

SLATE needs to just give it a rest or go on some sort of cloistered-fee-for-access only liberal website because they're a lost cause.

I was anticipating a spiel about "impeachment" or thereabouts, given the reputation of the place and Kaus along with it...I don't know, perhaps my impatience with the place just made all the words in the column bounce right off me.

I still get the impression that Kaus was having to restrain himself from lapsing into a "bushitler" rant at every paragraph.
