Looks like something my Grandmother might have worn at the beach when she was a young woman.

Great pic. I appears that he's too drunk to negotiate around the cones connected with yellow tape. I guess he's just going to walk right through and drag it all to his car.

On the contrary...Christians who are strong in their faith do not tend to leave their faith...that should go without saying.
It is confused youth raised in a hippie lifestyle that tend to go in for that type of thing.

I did not say they had any such. What they do have is the prime examples of moral decadance in this country (often displayed with glee on this board) that is disturbing to any decent human being of any religion. The moral decadence of Americans exposing a little skin is nothing to the moral decadence of Islam raping and killing women for showing a little skin. They have us beat hands down for moral decadence. If they used us for an example in morals they would stop raping and stoning their women at the drop of a hat.

Huh. That's odd. I thought your deity created everything. That would include melanomas. Lots of calls in the Bible for people to dress modestly, as I remember.
Point given. He DID create melanomas. And a host of other things that are harmful to life. He also created many things that are beneficial to life as well. This is where common sense comes in - if you abuse something by overuse, you will eventually pay the price. What a great way to foster self-responsibility and moderation, huh?
As for the burqini - to each his own. Personally, I think women (and men) who dress modestly show more self-respect for their bodies than those whose outfits barely cover the nipples and pubic hair.

Sure, no problem. Mennonites and Amish. You aren't going to see any immodest swimming garb on any of their teens, I guarantee.
I was raised in a predominately Amish/Mennonite County. Skinny dipping was not unknown but not at the towns public beach, only at country ponds.

"But Amish men didn't use skimpier dress as an excuse to go and rape yankee women. "I would also like to point out that in the French rioting last month that butcher shops that sold pork were one of the major targets of fire bombing. This call to "BurkaUP" is one of the demands that will be heading our way after we let them "solve the Jewish/Palestinian problem". (Hint: The solution is to kill all the Jews if you haven't heard from Iran yet!)

Yeah, I know. I said so in my second paragraph. Kids will be kids.

Someone who would benefit from wearing a burqini. She could launch her own line in fact: Crusty Swimwear. Make them all in black, which is very slimming.

OTOH, at night, I'm sure those teens are skinny-dipping in the swimming hole, just like other kids, but that's another matter.
Usually it was daytime. It was generally just a bit chilly at night in Northwest PA even in summer - but your point is well taken. Many people seem to equate Amish/Mennonite with super hard core radical conservative Christians. Not so, they just had their own ideas of The Good Life.
By the way I did notice that their farms - worked with horses and mules seemed more productive that the few modern equipped farms.

It is pretty nasty what people are willing to show these days. I sure wouldn't object to a little more moedesty but a burqini?....I don't think so.
