errr..... what? No "reparations" from the Brits. Sure, the Brits built up their country with riches from the sub-continent, but India's recovering on it's own.

I believe the first comments were in jest, sarcasm. In reference, sarcastically, to the notion that the U.S. "owes reparations" to today's blacks.
