The real problem is not that handguns aren't safe or well-regulated enough, or that you can't sue and try to bankrupt a corrupt manufacturer after someone you love has been killed.

No..the real problem is that greedy, un-American idiots never blame the responsible party; they go after the deep pockets.

I'd like to see the author of this piece insist that auto manufacturers in Detroit should be held responsible when some reckless driver runs over a pedestrian. The problem is not the instrument; the problem is the nutjob wielding it.

And you don't solve the problem by criminalizing legitimate instruments of freedom. You solve the problem by stripping the mentally deficient of their rights and enforcing laws that already exist.

Just what is corrupt about Glock for making an effective weapon which is what they say they do? What is corrupt is the reasoning that permits the accuser from using the word "corrupt" in this situation!

As with all liberals, they ae too shallow to think more than a single step. To them if you ban handguns, then that is the end of the problem! When crime starts to rise after they created a society of victims, they are completely lost for the cause and instead insist that the problem is toy guns or kitchen knives or some other such nonsense.

I would be that the manner of conveyance this mother used when she purchased a handgun, was an automobile. She probably used the same vehicle to apply for permit/licens/registration, and use that same vehicle to repeatly drive to and from a practice range.

Without the vehicle, sold to her without regard to its purpose, this incident is likely to have never happened.
