Shugs, Thank you for sharing the lovely service with us. You shall forever have a special place in my heart for your kindness to our granddaughter, Savannah.
I hope that the coming days will be filled with joy and just love your dad while you can.

I have not got to talk with you a lot, Eleanor, but I surely know who you are and read about your loss here.
It is beyond wonderful that you had a service that honored your mother's memory, and comforted your father and yourself, other family and friends. I imagine the Chapel is quite lovely.
So good that Malcolm arrived to give your Dad company, but too bad he went to the wrong church. All's well that ends well, and friends like these -- thanks be to God -- who are with you in the difficult times are never forgotten.
God bless you.

Thank you all it was indeed a Blessing regarding Malcolm it was I am convinced God given and a reason that he did not make the service as the visit to the house later helped dad and gave he something else to think about.

I'm glad things worked out for your dad to see his friend, I'm sure it meant a lot to you both. Both are favorite hymns of mine, it must've been a beautiful service.

A very quiet humble sincere service. They are kind gracious unassuming people many would say old fashioned but it was just the type of service that both my parents like and people they feel comfortable with.
