This had made my birthday!!
Now she shows up rarely on national TV and looks completely confused, a grinning old fool who doesn't know that everyone else in the room thinks she's been drinking. Her columns are basically filler--no one talks about them, she doesn't break stories, she simply coughs up the accepted liberal wisdom a week later, adding to the pure numbers of columnists who write about certain articles so boobs on TV can say "the story is the subject of columns all over the country" or whatever. She seems to think she is one of the top columnists, a real sparkplug, but she's a has-been who never was.
She's just filler. So is what's between her ears.

I stopped reading Molly about 15 years ago. She's relentlessly stupid and inaccurate. As you've demonstrated.
May you get twice the presents this year, to make up for all the times you got stiffed with the combination birthday/Christmas present!
I was tempted to comment that she usually comes out with a column a week after everyone else, but you made the point for me.
But she still belongs to Creators Syndicate and probably gets well paid for her nationqally syndicated birdcage filler.
Like Michael Moore, she's off the radar screen, but she's still laughing all the way to the bank.

I was thinking she must have lost a lot of weight to get down to a 14. Last pic I saw was about a 22.
I notice that, unlike most columnists, molly doesn't print her e-mail address at the end of her columns. Wonder why that is? (Sarcasm)
A leftie librarian once told me molly was a "genius". How do these people get on the government payroll?

It seems like you owe your readers a correction as the student at the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth, who said he tried to check out a copy of Mao's Little Red Book and wound up being interviewed by two feds, has admitted making up the entire story.
I'm always disappointed to find inaccurate and/or unverified stories being used to support editiorial opinions.
Hopefully, your news organization will do more fact checking in the future before you allow your opinion columns to be published.
I expect that you will issue a correction, won't you?
