Merry Christmas Eve, Jack. I got lost....my cable quit! Do you have some time off for the holidays? We had 5 inches of snow. Our trees are flocked again. And it has started snowing gently again.

Merry Christmas backatcha!
The chocolate-walnut fudge I made on Tuesday isn't too shabby either. We also made chocolate and peanut butter fudge at my daughter's yesterday, but I wanted to try an experiment tonight. I added some cream cheese to my peanut butter fudge. It tastes wonderful! It remains to be seen if it'll set up okay or if I'll have to mix in some powdered sugar. LOL
The first time I made the brownies, I put walnuts in the layer around the outside edge and the york peppermint patties just inside both ends. I left the middle plain. I ate far too much of the walnut parts, took some of that and the mint layers to my sister-in-law and the plain middle part (that I left chewy to make her happy) to my daughter. Tonight I did half with walnuts and half with the peppermint patties.
On Tuesday we made peanut butter cookies (the kind with the Hershey's kiss on top), oatmeal-chocolate chip, and cowboy cookies. (Somebody posted the recipe for the cowboy cookies in a thread. LuvW? I wrote down the recipe but I didn't write down who posted it.) My sister-in-law also made chex mix and macadamia nut-white chocolate chip cookies. Otherwise, my nieces have been on cookie detail at mom's, making monster cookies, mom's traditional pineapple ones, sugar cookies, etc. They're making the pies, too. Think we'll have enough junk food? ;)

Hurry. I'll be up 'til around 8am. (Daughter worked overnight shift and didn't get much sleep before work, so she's phoning so I can talk about exciting things to keep her awake while she drives home.) That gives you about 3.5 hours!
Oh, and pick MEG33 up on your way here! ;)
