I think about a month or two back someone posted this really long article about the rise and strength of public employee unions, i was having difficulty finding the article. Does anyone by chance have a link? Any help is appreciated.
The article was pretty long(fully posted, non excerpted), i beleive it discussed the rise of unions over the last 50 years(how theyve shifted from the private to the public sector/etc.)
Thanks
You might try the search box here on FReep...it's generally inadequate, but surprises can happen now and again...just wrack your brain for the title of the thread, for starts.
The search box works quite well...unles someone bastardized the headline.
Is this it?

Are we related or something?
Or unless you're unfamiliar with Free Republic searching...it can be a tad confusing.
The few times I start threads, I cross my fingers that I won't get the posting po-lice spouting their superiority in my face.
I remembered the article and ran the search on the City Journal website. In the Blue State capital, with bad examples abounding, City Journal regularly produces first rate conservative research and commentary.
Yes thank you, i'd been googling around for 'unions' i didnt think to look for public servants
Ahh thanks, i'd been wondering how to search within my own posts.
You're welcome!
Glad I could be of help!
Merry Christmas!
