LOL
--I knew this thread would need a little levity--
Pregnancy and breastfeeding work wonders for menstrual suppression. Too bad more American women don't try it. We are losing ground in the population war because we are all in grad school, at the office, or at Starbucks.
>Why did God tell the Israelites that there is to be only >40 day of purification for a woman after giving birth to >a Male child but there must be 80 days when the child is >Female??
The amount of spirit given to a born daughter is much more then a son (perhaps twice?), therefore, the longer waiting period before it is "safe", soul-wise, for intimacy.
--think of it--a biker world without red wings--
We always called it an Irish Sanchez..... -
kind of takes the excitement out of it.
You may be right about "rare cases," but you should meet my oldest daughter. Twice. In the same month. First, I'll introduce you to the sweet, soft-spoken, demure little thing that I live with most of the month.
Then -- provided we time it right -- I'll introduce you to the illegitmate offspring of Damien and pea soup-spouting Linda Blair who inhabits her body for a few days each month. ;)
My wife and I think we erred by not naming her Sybil. It's clear that two people inhabit one body.
Agreed! You cannot take hormones every day and expect no repercussions....A cancer cluster waiting to happen for sure!!!
This is actually old news. Many women know that taking conventional pills in a particular pattern (don't ask me how) will stop menstruation, for several months at a time (a period is needed for health reasons several times a year, and will occur eventually.)
I was on the DepoProvera shot for several years as well, and I'll say outright it was for birth control. I started it just after my marriage, stopped it to have a child, then started back. I loved it. No unpleasantness each month. Wonderful. But it turned me into a raving bi***. It also made me add on the pounds. Since I stopped the shots I've been much happier, lost 13 pounds, and, unfortunately, gone back to dreading that time of the month. Great shot, not for me. Very, very glad it's helping you. Obviously no medication is right for everyone.
Lucky you for never having PMS, but I don't see how that qualifies you to know whether it is rare or not.
Am I the only one who thinks of everything in terms of math?
Do the math: Six more days per month that you can have sexual intercourse, 12 months a year, 72 more days you can sc***, gives you a 19.7 percent increase in the number of days you can have sex.
I'm a Protestant and I most certainly have a problem with their stance on contraception.

The former pro wrestler, turned former governor of Minnesota doesn't have time either.
We had a good run. 6,000 years or so of western civilzation is certainly an accomplishment. It's better to go out on top anyway.
I'd like to know what impact this would have on a woman's iron level!
I'm anemic and have fought it for years. For some reason my bone marrow refuses to store iron. Iron tablets don't work and I've tried many of them, and the only way I get it is in food. I'll eat a steak now and then but I hate hamburger and spinach gets old!
Menustration depleats a woman's iron supply. If I could take it safely (I've got a clotting factor to consider) and it would help with anemia, I'd take it!
I'll take a dozen! :~D
Have you ~seen~ the same traffic on the freeway I have? I hardly think that's a risk :~D
Yeah, in my city, it seems like most of them are immigrants (legal and illegal), not native sons/daughters, don't ya think?
