Really? Most of these people are conservative Roman Catholics. They are anti-abortion and anti same-sex marriage, and for religion in schools; and they are very pro the traditional family.
Can't see any reason not to want more of these people.

Latin American Indian peasant immigrants are often praised by the open borders crowd as "pro family," and therefore a boon to this country. For one thing, that's not reason enough to let 'em all in, for another, the same can be said of most third-world immigrants. The lack of the rule of law in much of the underdeveloped and developing world means the extended family is the only institution within which trust can prevail and upon which you can count for defense and retribution.
