If Rockefeller didn't leak it, he pretty certainly knows who did. He's at the epicenter of the cabal of rogue CIA agents, the DNC, and the MSM.
How about gearing up another prosecutor, only this time make it a real prosecutor instead of that preening useful idiot, Fitzgerald.
Meantime, we know exactly where to start. "Attorney General Gonzalez should subpoena Mr. Risen and Mr. Lichtblau, and have them cited for contempt of court if they do not disclose their source or sources. Maybe they could share Judy Millers old cell."

Treason is a difficult charge on which to convict.
Yes, because the specifications are, for lack of a better word, very specific. Their are other charges with plenty of jail time for the leaks in this case. Rockefeller would probably not go to trial based on Leahy's treatment. Leahy's leaks got people killed and he simply dropped off the committee. I can't remember if he even got censured.

My guess is judging from the anger expressed by President Bush and V.P. Chaney this is actively being pursued by the J.D..
Its also my belief is that the story was leaked before the election to directly hurt the President's reelection chances, and for whatever reason the NYT sat on it and didn't release it. I think they didn't do it because they knew if Kerry lost then the backlash would be too great and they would be seen as directly using classified material to affect an election. Now this moron has a book coming out, and this is just the thing to bump his sales up, so it gets released. As far as I am concerned he should be signing his books from a cell if he doesn't release the names of who leaked this to him.

Please don't even say this. Its too much like a DU comment. We want to protect these people whether they like it or not.

"God forbid that the islamist lunatics should come to New York City again...but if they simply MUST set off a nuke somewhere, please, please, please have them detonate it at the front door of the NY Times building..."
No, and _______ no.
Besides being a suggestion so silly that it would do justice to only Howard Dean or some DU poster, the Slime is and has been doing far more damage to themselves than anything merely explosive OR radioactive.
Seen anything from them on their own circulation or profit figures lately?
There's a rapidly increasing probability that, if they should decide to return to presenting fact instead of their political agenda, they wouldn't have enough circulation OR credibility left that anyone would notice or take them seriously.

It does seem to suggest that Senator Rockefeller and a judge presiding over a secret court that oversees intelligence matters were sources for this leak, Strata hints. In fact, if Strata is right, Gonzales may already know that, for Strata adds that press reports to the contrary notwithstanding, Judge Robertson, an activist liberal judge, probably didnt resign, but rather was suspended for that very reason...Judge Robertson...TRAITOR

Think with a little more depth, Clioman. I have a dear son who lives in Manhattan.

To Rightazrain, et al.
Of course, you are all right. My anger at what the NYT's leakers are doing to American security interests got the best of me for a moment, or at least long enough to hit the send key before thinking it through. My apologies.

If this is true I hope the administration gets it out before the Judge is granted sainthood. Right now he is being praised for his 'principles'.

prominent liberals being prosecuted for damaging the fight against al Qaeda via leaks of classified data. The RATS would not be prosecuted but allowed to resign. Prosecution would hurt the war effort and Bush is smart enough to know that.
