I'm sure that in the future it will be possible to write unimaginably complex programs that will be able to mimic human behavior in some ways. But a computer can never truly think.
And you base your "sure" belief on what, exactly?

That the intellect is an aspect of the soul, which is the (Aristotelean) form of the body, and that the soul/form/intellect is a simple spiritual substance.
