My guess is you wouldn't support this if Gore or Kerry was pushing it.
But I don't change my conservative views simply because it's an "R" pushing a liberal issue.

He'll be back .. he's just REALLY mad and upset right now in the way he was treated and the lack of respect
Stevens has been there a long time .. he knows politics can be rough .. but they weren't just disagreements .. it got personal
The Dems went over the line and Senator Steven won't forget it

I would be too busy shooting at flying pigs to support them. :)

I don't live in a "GULAG", but you do and of the worst sort...it's in your mind.
I bet that you imagine that you live in a "police state". Of course, you have less than no idea what either of those things actually were like, but they "sound good" to you.

"Trust me, you can NOT "count" on old Joe LIEberman for anything!"
My point.
McCain is on the same par.
I only wonder what the hell ever happened to that recall campaign in Arizona. I thought that it was moving along pretty good.

those 45 have flipped because of politics - not because of the merits of the law.

Why do we need ths P Act? Bush has obviously said that he can do what he wants when it comes to the wiretaps and other subjects. I see no reason for the Patriot Act.

My parents are dead and I haven't needed their permission to do anything, for many decades, pet. Sorry for your loss, dear. You can stop trying to compensate anytime now.
Seek help.

If a majority of Alaskan Citizens want drilling why do these non-Alaskan RATS and RHINOS want to block it so bad? If the Wildlife, nature arguments held any water then we should just end drilling everywhere in America and import 100% of our fossil fuels and pay the Arabs $500 a barrel.

You think that what a Senator thinks is what the American populace thinks too? ARE YOIU FOR REAL?

"What the HELL are you babbling about?"
Oh you know exactly what I'm talking about. You just choose to ignore it and change the debate. There is no defense for the PATRIOT act.

McQueeg is an utter disaster!
I'd like to know what happened to the recall, myself.

Does anyone else want to yell at Frist to stop spouting this "bipartisan" baloney! Wake up, Mr. Frist, no matter how sweet you treat them, the Dims have ZERO interest in being bipartisan....

Where have all the REAL conservatives gone? :(

"You think that what a Senator thinks is what the American populace thinks too? ARE YOIU FOR REAL?"
I didn't say that. But if there is strong support from the American public for the PATRIOT act, somebody please provide it.

I can tell you what I think of Stevens comments, he hit the nail on the head tonight.
However he has voted in the past don't really mean much today, drilling in ANWR is part of our National security and it was correct to put it in a "must pass" bill.
He was stabbed in the back by a bunch of whining, liberal pukes, and RINO's. I don't blame him one bit for being pissed off.
I've seen many threads posted on FR calling for everyone to "Freep this poll", I wish someone would start one to "Freep Senator Stevens with support for drilling ANWR".
Most of the people on FR seem to agree with drilling ANWR, and agree with what Stevens said tonight.
Thats just my opinion and I'm sticking to it.

so you think the FBI should have to get a wiretap court order for every phone a person might use - in an era when someone can walk into best buy and come out with an activated cellphone in 5 minutes, paid for in cash. is that an example of how pre Patriot Act america offered you more civil rights?
