This guy could be on trial for years. he is going to be found guilty of something sooner or later and be hanged/shot... so they might as well get it over with already.

Saddam Hussein presents himself at the Court with the resumption of her lawsuit

BAGHDAD - president Saddam Hussein and seven of his co-defendants were presented in front of the High Iraqi penal court at the resumption Wednesday of their lawsuit in Baghdad, noted a journalist of AFP.

Saddam Hussein took seat in the dock after the opening of the sixth audience of her lawsuit for the massacre of villager Shiites after an attack against her convoy, in 1982 in Doujaïl, in the north of Baghdad.

The audience was declares open to 11H29 (08H29 GMT) and the former president took seat in the dock eleven minutes later.

"Saddam must be present at the court and if it refuses to be presented, we will oblige it to come in the dock", had declared Sunday with AFP the Attorney General, Jaafar Al-Moussaoui.

The former dictator had defied the court, which judges it since October 19 with seven of its lieutenants for the massacre of the villagers of Doujaïl, while refusing to appear with the fifth audience of its lawsuit, December 7.

"Go to the devil", it had launched while leaving the court the day before. Saddam Hussein complained to be able to wash itself, not to have changed clothing into two days and to be able neither to smoke nor to revive the legs.

According to Mr. Moussaoui, five to six witnesses for the prosecution must still be heard, before defense does not present to them his, forty it specified, including three Ministers for Ancien Régime.

But the collective of defense, based in Amman, contradicted Monday to want to introduce 40 witnesses and repeated that the High penal court was illegal, adding that "the Attorney General exceeded his functions when he said that +le president (Saddam) was to be taken along of force with the tribunal+".

Why not just play an endless loop of endless Iraqi's voting last week and force Saddam to watch alone in his underwear?

5. Bring in Wal-mart;
6. Raise oil prices dramatically;
7. Buy majority stock in VW TDI vehicles;

If they find him guilty will they hang his lawyers also?

Yeah, starting with Ramsey Clark. Does anybody know who is paying his bill?

I propose a new FR rule. In the spirit of Dowd threads, all articles about Saddam must include these or similar images:

Censored for young eyes

Or compensated by non-grossness, kinda like a kitten eyewash.
