To echo previous comments, cogent considered opinions and objections are welcomed at Free Republic. Hit-and-run posting of DU/DNC talking points without demonstrating a willingness to defend said points will get you a well-earned ZOT.

Lacing those talking points with insults against Freepers such as "republidumbs", "fascists", "nazis", "simpleminded", "racists", "neo-cons", "jesus-freaks", etc. will earn you a weekend with Lazamataz. (smile)

I don't mean to offend you by this but (usually followed by something offensive...) if you have to ask for permission to express yourself, you could be on the wrong website. Trolls aren't zotted for expressing themselves... they are zotted for spouting party lines, insults and inanities. If you are asking us to tell you the party line on this website so you can sound just like us, then you would be more at home on DU.

We were attacked at the WTC in 1993. We were attacked at the CIA offices by a sniper in the 1990s. We were attacked when the Kobar Towers were destroyed. We were attacked when the USS Cole was hit.

We were not attacked on 9/11/2001 because we were involved in a war that we shouldn't have been.

We were attacked on 9/11/2001 because we were NOT involved in a war that we SHOULD have been.

Appeasement gets us nothing but broader and bolder strikes.
