That's not good. I wonder why the media hasn't covered them yet, then again, maybe that's good they aren't getting more publicity.

Van Nuys Businesses Evacuated During Search For Man
Authorities Said Man Might Have Explosives

POSTED: 5:15 pm PST December 20, 2005
UPDATED: 5:23 pm PST December 20, 2005

VAN NUYS, Calif. -- Police cleared an industrial area of Van Nuys where officers are searching for a man believed to have some kind of explosive.

Police were sent to 7900 Haskell Ave. at 2:46 p.m. as part of an "explosives investigation," said Los Angeles police Officer Grace Brady of Media Relations.

"They believe they might have something. Otherwise they wouldn't have evacuated people," Brady said.

Authorities said the person might be in a warehouse on Haskell Avenue.

Very nice LRG...

...but rather than bustin' some new rhyme, I think a convocation with this much solemnity should really be honored by something with a more classical bent...

So to tookie, snoop doggie poop and the funeral posse...

Did you ever think when a hearse goes by,
That you may be the next to die?

They take you out to the family plot,
And there you wither, decay, and rot.

They wrap you up in a bloody sheet,
And then they bury you six-feet deep.

And all goes well for a week or two,
And then things start to happen to you.

The worms crawl in, the worms crawl out,
The ants play pinochle on your snout!

One of the worms that's not so shy,
Crawls in one ear and out one eye.

They call their friends and their friends' friends, too,
They'll make a horrid mess of you!

And then your blood turns yellow-green,
And oozes out like whipping cream.

Your eyes fall in, your teeth fall out,
Your liver turns to sauerkraut.

So never laugh when a hearse goes by,
For you may be the next to die.

Happy Dirtday tookie!

Mourners overflowed a church for the funeral of the Crips gang co-founder. Among them were hip-hop star Snoop Dogg and Rev. Jesse Jackson.

Lawyer Tom Mesereau, Jr., center, and Minnie Fox, left, join in prayer at Bethel A.M.E church.

Rev. Jesse Jackson, left, and Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan hug during Williams' memorial service.

Inspirational speaker Tony Robbins delivers a speech at the Williams' funeral.

Several dozen gang members wearing blue attire associated with Crips gangs watched the funeral in the parking lot. One, who identified himself as "Killowatt the Third," age 33, estimated there were 20 to 30 Crips "sets" there to honor Williams.

"That's my role model, man. That's the CEO of the Crips," he said.

I'm utterly touched; I'm crying and choked up with tears. I could feel pity for this man and be in awe of this moving scene - except for one little detail. Williams was a quadruple murderer and that fact alone renders me cold. I certainly can't extend the milk of human kindness to someone who never showed an ounce of human kindness to others when he was alive. Sorry if I can't feel anything akin to what I described the outset. It is just is that I don't deem a murderer worthy of being remembered and most people share my view in this regard.
