The Media: Pro-America or Pro-Terrorists?
The Post Chronicle ^ | 12/20/05 | Lee Ellis

The New York Times keeps printing "news" that aids and abets those who hate the USA. The most recent example of this is the recent propaganda using a misleading story written by James Risen and Eric Lichtblau which reads in part, "Months after the Sept. 11 attacks, President Bush secretly authorized the National Security Agency to eavesdrop on Americans and others inside the United States to search for evidence of terrorist activity without the court-approved warrants ordinarily required for domestic spying." This has proven to be wrong, and is taken from a book to be released next week by a Viacom publisher. Viacom also owns CBS so one might well suspect that this will also be promoted on "60 Minutes." President Bush has explained his war-time powers, had alerted intelligence committee members of Congress and had also followed up with F.I.S.A. court warrants. These phone calls were NOT domestic, but rather were calls from the Middle East to America. It was revealed by NewsMax that Pelosi and Reid finally confessed that they had been informed by President Bush about these NSA wiretaps and had said nothing back then. Also revealed is that President Clinton had done many similar taps via a program called Echelon. Where were the leaks then to the leftist press?

Between the liberal press and the Dumbocrat Left, Al-Quaeda has valuable allies in high places. These people are getting our troops killed, and giving aid and comfort to our enemies! They need to be arrested and prosecuted, whether they are Senators (Jay Rockefeller comes to mind) or reporters for the New York Slimes. They need to be named as traitors and treated as such.

Of course the left-wing press isn't pro-terrorist, just anti-American.

They think that if we lose the war then the terrorists won't come after us.

Of course they are wrong, but they don't care.

Spanish police arrested 16 people Monday who are suspected of recruiting Al Qaeda fighters to send to Iraq, officials said. The group's alleged leader, a 25-year-old Iraqi known as Abu Sufian, had access to Al Qaeda's leader in Iraq, Abu Musab Zarqawi, and probably sent his recruits on suicide missions, the Interior Ministry said. The 16, of several nationalities, sent volunteers to Iraq "to wage jihad as members of the Al Qaeda network," Spanish Interior Minister Jose Antonio Alonso told a news conference. He said the group had two fighters ready to send to Iraq at the time...

Anyone see a threat...not here at the TIMES...we want the terrorists to win...

The Media: Pro-America or Pro-Terrorists?

This is a rhetorical question, right?

"Media Madness May Murder Many."

Yep, the motto of the war on terror.

The "media" is made up of "for profit" companies.

The "media" has the same responsibility as any other business, turning a profit.

I doubt that there are more than a few "stories" that are not bought by one group or another.

So I would respond The Media: Pro-Media

WhiteGuy, you're dead-nuts on.

I dipped my toe in the water of broadcast radio when I was an undergrad. Besides working at the school radio station, I took a course called "Intro to Radio".

I distinctly remember the first class, and the first thing the lecturer said:

"Radio is a business."

Thanks for the back up.

It is amazing to me that so many people believe that the various outlets of journalism are objective.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

every spoken or written word originated with an individual who is on SOMEONE'S payroll.

And to answer your question:
("Are you drinking 1% because you think you're fat?")

Actually, I'm drinking 80 proof, and it's because I'm fat.
