still if these "free staters" were doing a better job Kerry would NEVER have carried New Hampshire and Lynch would not be Governor.
Benson was a vocal supporter of free staters and he lost reelection. MeThinks their power is overstated

True enough, but the Free State project is pretty young. Wasn't NH only just selected a couple of years ago? Give it time, it is a good idea, and as folks are able, they will move there. Gotta excercise that pedal franchise (voting with one's feet).

They are just getting started, and don't have anywhere near the political resources yet to offset the mob of Democratic campaign operatives who flood across the border every election season. During the 2004 election half of the people holding signs in front of our town hall were from out of state. And several of the towns that went big for Kerry are full of students, many from you know where.
