You know, Mo1, that legislation that I mentioned is in the Patriot Act. It occurs to me there are two reasons why the left so desperately wants that Act to go away.
1) So they can press forward with impeachment hearings with the hope the public will not understand that THEY gave the president the authority to use warrantless wiretaps against US citizens with connections to AQ.
2) Because those wiretaps were coming too close to finding out the shady relationships that some of them have with Arabs and possibly jihadists.
But I think this is more about after the 1st of the year ... and the 2006 Elections
There are many House members and Senators up for reelection
Even if they can't get an impeachment on the President .. they want to taint him ... along with Congress
Remember what Reid said on Sunday .. "This is the most corrupt Congress"
All the Dems have the same talking point
They are gambling that the voters will turn against the Republican Party
And by doing that .. They are playing political games with OUR LIVES
Playing political games on domestic issues like social security and public schools is one thing
But playing political games with our national security that could get us killed ... is a completely different issue
The Dems will keep pushing this and they WILL over reach
There will be a back lash from the American People like they have never seen before
In the mean time .. We all need to keep our cool .. and RAM the facts down the Dems throats
