You sure got that right.
Way to go Bush!! "These senators need to explain themselves!! They voted for it already..."
Senate must stop their delaying tactics. We can't afford to be without this law for a single moment.
We cut taxes, our economy is strong. We have added jobs and the unemployment rate is 5%, lower than the average of the 1970's, 1980's, and 1990's. More Americans own their own homes than any time in our nation's history.
Unfortunately, he's lost too much ground since he hasn't spoken out months/years sooner.
Atta way to use the bully pulpit on the filibustering! Leaving the demos' open to the responsibility of another attack on American soil.
GWB on his game!!! Patriot ACT Defense will put 'RATS back on the defensive.
On to economy....
Yeah... he needs to do this once a week.
He needs to take some of that anger out on reporters that are invested in Americas failure.
My guess, being cubbie bound, is that that is what he's emphazising. The dems want to use this to say the president broke the law and overroad the constitution and that it's an impeachable offense. He's taking the pro-active approach. A VERY wise decision, given the enemy in our midst, IMHO.
I have never understood why the Republicans don't get a bunch of very wealthy people and fund managers together and buy a controlling interest in these big companies that own ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, Washington Post, etc., and then put in a new board of directors and change the political orientations of these outlets. All they do is complain about media bias. The Communist Party and the Democratic Party have their own media outlets, why don't the Republicans?
Oh, this is FANTASTIC! Fabulous.
Just slammed Reid about his quote, "We just killed the Patriot Act".
Al-Queda bragging about the same thing!!
Congress is making a snit-fit out of "no law that authorizes this" and Bush is throwing down the guantlet Abe Lincoln style saying Article II says so.
I think he's going for broke! He called Reid out by reference and quoted him "We have killed the Patriot Act."
Yeah.... he is on target this morning.
just got here. Watching him. His tone is perfect, nice but defiant. I am proud of him. Go W
I wish when he finishes he would just say, "Thank you for coming" and walk away.
He's giving a great speech.
I love it! Nailing the SINate and CONgress critters!
