The other toool we need to use is the Patriot Act. The Act took down the bureaucratic wall that kept intelligence agencies from sharing information about threats.
America's law enforcement have used this important tool to break up cells in America. Yet, key provisions of this law are set to expire in 12 days.
The House passed the extension, but a handful of Senators filibustered the bill. The Senate Leader of the Minority boasted that "We killed the Patriot Act"!!!!!!!!!

As well it should. If there are Americans amongst us who are in contact with and collaborating with Al Quida, I say hang them from the yard arm. Checking on their comms is a small part of what should be done to them.
True colonel- and I love the prez- (don't agree with him on everything) but when Bush speaks about the war- it is breaking news- (since he doesn't do it that often.) I am glad he is speaking ~he should have done this a long time ago.... But I am happy he is now- even if it is just about the Patriot act.
If Americans are talking with the enemy I want to know what they're talking about! Does Russ Fiengold?
