Church is where you should be learning about a Biblical Worldview - which touches every aspect of life, including politics. Check my website for more information.

Like I said, it's where I go to learn about the Savior and his Gospel. True, it touches many areas like some politics--as in abortion, gay marriage, and the like. But I don't need political candidates coming in seeking to get some kind of endorsement. I am also perfectly capable of making up my own mind of whom I vote for. I don't need someone else deciding for me. If I had a choice of listening to Hilary Clinton (or another politician) or my own pastor in Church, you know who I'm going to choose. I have six other days where I can hear politics from many sources. I have one where I can go to Church and learn more about HIM (though I can worship at any time).

I agree with you - and I wasn't advocating having your pastor recommend a candidate. But, the candidate has positions on various policy issues. Jesus speaks to each of those areas...do you know what the bible teaches about economics, or sociology? Does tbe bible have anything to say about politics, or law? It does...and candidates who are worthy of my vote should know what those principles are. But I can't assess their positions if I don't know what the Bible teaches in each of those areas, and others.
