Rednecks here are the workers, truck drivers, ranchers etc. An independent and self reliant folk.

I thought the term Redneck referred to farmers or other outdoor workers who got red necks from working in the sun. I've heard many ethnics refer to Christian Whites as Redneck whether they wear a suit and tie to work or not. It is a pejorative intended to insult white people.

Now if a few other racial and ethnic groups would do the same thing, the world would be a better place
