Wishful thinking BS by the Chronicle. Popularity is on the way up, with no end in sight as the economy continues to hum.

By the time 2008 rolls around, and even in 2006, the GOP candidates will all be courting President Bush for his support.

"the GOP candidates will all be courting President Bush for his support."

They already are. I read somewhere that Pres. Bush did a fundraiser with a GOP in Ohio (? Pennsylvania?) a few weeks ago, and brought in tons of money. I don't care what the trumped up polls say (especially this one from the Chron), Pres. Bush is still a huge draw and very popular.

I totally agree!!

When President Bush's poll numbers reach 52%-55% positive by the end of March, 2006 (which I have been predicting for some time now) I wonder what the Chronicle will say then???

Will the headline read "Candidates rush to Bush's side"??? I doubt it!!
