Many people are on call 24 hours and must have a beeper or cell phone . You can put it on vibration but they will loose customers by blocking.

The person being called should find seats near the aisle and go to the lobby to take calls. Public cell phone rudeness is out of control and just because someone is 'on call' doesn't give them the right to disturb others.

What? Am I an easier target? lol. I AGREE with you 100%. What really irriates me though is that when you sit on the aisle as a courtesy you are up and down because of people that can't wait to eat or didn't go to the bathroom before the show. I honestly don't know why they even come. They miss so much of the movie.
