Hmmm. Britian has a population of about 60 million. China- one billion. It demonstrates the power of a freedom right there that such a comparatively small country can have so much more economic power than such a populous one.

Not really, Britain was incredibly poor in the 18th century, when China was very rich and China had 25%(approx) of the World's GDP. The tables were turned because Asia as a whole became inward looking, against trade etc. but now they're adopting the free market and they're growing.
