The New York Times in a Sunday editorial calls for Congress to act on...a secret spying program against Americans.

Again?

They've been seriously gunning for impeachment since their champion Kerry failed to unseat the Chimperor. The entire second term thus far has been an effort to stall Bush's agenda and to remove him from office. Just think how many lame scandals have been manufactured--Gannongate, DSM, Plamegate, Ohio stolen, Katrina response, this...it goes on and on.

And can't help but notice the timing on this one. The day after a tremendous election in Iraq, when that should have been splashed across the front page of every self-respecting newspaper, and instead we have the Leftists' Case for Impeachment no. 3,274.

Why don't they just headline the story:

FU** Bush - We Just Hate the Guy

Thats been the plan all along. They CANNOT STAND that Bush won the last election and the left is dedicated to to get Bush ou teven at the expense of our saftey. The didnt win at the polls and they dont give a damn .They will try to force their will on the American public , no holds barred. They disregard facts and common sense . It's an INSANE drive to oust Bush no matter what .This is how damn sick this country has become. Some believe that even another 9/11 will not stop them .All they will do is blame Bush for it .I'm sure Osama is laughing his ass off somewhere reading the Times today . We are fools , God dammed fools. This is do or die folks , we MUST organize and go beyond words on a computer screen and go into action or else this country is lost big time.

The 'Playing Politics' Test.

If Schumer and Company are serious, They will demand that Jay Rockefeller be kicked off the Intel Committee

By their definition, he is guilty of gross malfeasance.

We shall see what the Dems do about it.

"Let's be clear about this: illegal government spying on Americans is a violation of individual liberties, whether conditions are troubled or not," the Times editorial states. "Nobody with a real regard for the rule of law and the Constitution would have difficulty seeing that.

LMAO, when these scumbags at the New York Times say the same things about the Cisneros report and Clinton's abuse of the IRS to destroy political adversaries, then the New York Times might begin recovering a little credibility of its own.

Until then, the former "paper of record" will remain the laughingstock it's been for over a decade now.

I think so too........

The NYT and MSM just get worse and worse with their antics.

It's really unbelievable in a way, the extent which they have gone. You wake up every day, and hope they will report actual facts.....but No..........never happens.

I agree, I think the MSM and Democratic party are in cahoots to go after this President.

Rather may be still be busy.......

If they'd stay out of gay bars and off of child porn sites, they'd be nothing for these reporters to feel paranoid about.

Like I just said a couple of days ago .. the dems never think about the consequences of their actions. Their goal is NOW - TODAY - GET BUSH! When that is your only goal, you lose all sense of reason .. and this statement by the "DNC Times" is stunning in it's arrogance:

"'Mr. Bush said he would not retract his secret directive or halt the illegal spying, so Congress should find a way to force him to do it. Perhaps the Congressional leaders who were told about the program could get the ball rolling.'"

I'm stunned that these people think they have a right to order Congress to do anything .. and since the "spying" was not "illegal" .. Congress doesn't have to do anything except SHUT THE HELL UP!!

I certainly do hope the WH calls for an investigation of this - this leak is way above what should be exposed to our enemies.

OK, this was all pre-planned. They are going for impeachment

It was and they are.

I expect that we will hear calls for impeachment this week - perhaps as soon as after his televised address on Sunday. The media would play with it over the holidays - possible scenarios, time frame, replaying any Nixon era impeachment footage (while completely ignoring Clinton's).

I love the way these ***wipes worded this:

"Let's be clear about this: illegal government spying on Americans is a violation of individual liberties, whether conditions are troubled or not," the Times editorial states

Well, duh. Illegal government spying would be a violation of individual liberties. But even these nimrods don't know if it is so they couch the words in such a way as to make folks draw the wrong conclusion.

THE TIMES IS PLAYING WORD GAMES and hoping the American people don't notice.

It won't be hard for the media to convice some Republicrats to get it up for a vote in the House either.

I also suggest we hammer Amazon.com and some other major book sellers telling them we will boycott them if the intend to sell Risen's book , he is a traitor.

Those bastards are very good. Instead of having the whole weekend to talk about the success of the Iraqi election, we have the whole weekend to talk about the government spying on "innocent Americans".
