Iraq Interior Minister Bayan Jabir said terror attacks in the country decreased by 70 percent and no escapee has been arrested at Syrian borders for two weeks.
In the statement to Kuwaiti reporters, Jabir indicates this figure was based on the latest statistics.
The decrease in the number of these attacks is a big success, the minister noted, declaring by the end of next year Iraqi army could take over security.
The US Army had declared after the months long operations against insurgents, suicide attacks had decreased to the lowest level in November and roadside bombings had been at its lowest level since last June.

Well, this news is from Dec. 10, but I haven't seen it at any MSM outlets and didn't see it posted here either.
Every single attack is Frontpage news, but when attacks drop by 70%, that isn't even mentioned.
More evidence of the anti-American bias of the MSM.
The Iraqi minister makes such an important remark and nobody publishes it.

GNFI ping.
More good news ignored by the MSM.

More evidence of the anti-American bias of the MSM.I honestly cannot understand that bias. This is the greatest country in the world and MSM wants it to fail.

They are so arrogant that they believe they can repair any damage - after they're back in power.

LOL!
Love the cartoon and it's more true, than the terrorists would like it to be.

Good post. Let us hope these statistics continue to show the insurgency subsiding. Things can change quite a bit in a moments time. But perhaps if a vast number of Sunni who have cooperated with the insurgency throw in the towel for real, things are really going to improve from the security point.
One thing for sure is the zman no longer is welcome by all indications. Hopefully he will be grabbed soon.

"when attacks drop by 70%, that isn't even mentioned."
From the perspective of the MSM, reporting such information would serve no useful purpose. That is to say, it would not help destroy the US.

Thanks for the post, though.

I see it differently. The people driving the Hard Left don't want it to repair damage---they want to cause it. Getting into power will just provide them even more opportunity to do so.

Nice pic. Those folks simply look a bit humble. And I bet they could care less about Israel being an arch enemy, there now rid of one of the greatest butchers of modern history.

The biggest problem they have is finding experienced mentors for the new recruits.

All points in your post well taken. The other side of the point above is---getting more Sunnis to turn the terrorists into the Iraqi authorities.
To: strategofr
Most of the Sunnis have decided to participate in the new democratic Iraq. Without this base from which to operate from and hide in the foreign terrorists will be quickly identified and sent on their way to their 72 virgins. However, unbeknown to the terrorist the 72 virgins are all clones of Helen, unfortunately not Helen of Troy but HELEN OF THOMAS. :)

This, my children, is what we call a correlation.

Very good anticipation. Perhaps the Hard Left has already inserted someone into our military, who will oblige them with such an action.
