So, he pretended to be a child so as to hurt a hero even more? The lowest sub human piece of crap ever!I tried to counter the scum's damage. When the names of soldiers needing words of encouragement were published on this thread (including Joshua Sparling), I sent Christmas cards to them. Tucked inside each envelope was an additional note of thanks written by my 5 year old niece. It simply said "Thank you. Love, --name redacted--." She had to copy the notes because her spelling isn't that great yet at such a young age, but she knew who was getting them and why she was doing it, and she dutifully set down and slowly wrote them one by one until she got the job done.

Thank you so much. Let me assure you that you and many others did counter this rancid maggot's hate.
I plan to post a full after-action report when I get the photos downloaded, but I visited last night with Cpl Todd Bishop - one of the names on that list with Joshua Sparling. I have a photo of Todd in his wheelchair holding a stack of mail (one of about three). He and his roommate said it was only about three days' worth.
My Red Cross connection said Joshua had about two bags of mail, FWIW.
