McCain attached it to a defense appropriation.

If Bush rejected it, he would also have to deny funding our troops at war as well.

It was a detestable move by McLame.

Sometimes one has to play hardball. Veto the bill, let Congress be on the hook for the troops not being funded. See how long that would be.

I've traveled the course from voting for McClam in the primaries, to hoping each and every day that he heads off to a nursing home asap and disappears.............

Why doesn't he just get lost, or change parties?????
I'd have more respect if he would start a new party or something.
