If you would READ the particulars of the Patriot Act, you would learn that random spying on Americans is not what it enables our guys to do. They have to have a REASON for such spying.

Try going to RushLimbaugh.com and read yesterday's Limbaugh clarifying and explaining the 16 parts of the ACT which will cease to exist after Dec.31 if the Senate does not renew them.

Yes, you SHOULD Be afraid. Very Afraid. If they emasculate this ACT, which has served us well, terrorists will have free reign to plan and execute another 9/ll.

Something tells me I've got a better chance of being struck by lightning than getting blown up should the sixteen controversial parts of the patriot act expire.

The police can do just fine finding terrorists without this. This act serves nothing but to make America look like a police state. I heard Andrew Napolotano express very clearly last night on Fox News how useless some of these provisions are. If they want to invade someones' privacy, they better have a reason, some evidence and a judge's clearance.
